Oil companies implemented a hefty increase in the prices of fuel products effective Tuesday.

prices climbed by P2.25 per liter and P2.40 per liter, respectively. The price hikes on Tuesday were significantly higher than the previous week.

This was the second straight week that gasoline and diesel prices went up but first time for kerosene. As of writing, Asian bellwether Dubai crude was trading at $80 per barrel while international benchmark Brent crude was around $87 per barrel.
