The Philippine Sports Commission is will hold the second leg of its inclusive sports program, Walk, Run and Roll, on July 20, 2025 in Surigao City.In partnership with Milo, the National Council on Disability Affairs , RunRio and the city government of Surigao , the event is part of the 2025 National Milo Marathon and supports the nationwide observance of National Disability Rights Week which runs from July 17 to 23.
The Walk, Run, and Roll initiative was first launched in 2024 at UP Diliman, where over 800 participants joined its pilot leg. The program now expands to the National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao as part of PSC’s broader push to make grassroots sports programs inclusive and accessible across the country. “As the lead agency for grassroots sports, the PSC is committed to providing equal opportunities for all,” said PSC commissioner Walter Torres, who leads the program.
