THE Pru Life lnsurance Corp. of UK (Pru Life UK) announced strong performance in the second quarter of the year, maintaining its lead among Philippine insurance providers. Through a statement the insurer issued last Tuesday, the company said it achieved the highest New Business Annual Premium Equivalent (NBAPE) of P4.

Based on the latest data from the IC, Pru Life UK ranked first among 31 life insurance firms that submitted their respective performance report. Total net income of life insurance companies grew by 21.62 percent to P19.909 billion as of end-June 2024 from P16.369 billion in 2023.
