Mrs. Universe 2023 2nd runner-up Arlene Damot sees the Miss Universe Organization's decision to lift the age requirement and welcome married women as a progressive move.
MANILA, Philippines — Mrs. Universe 2023 2nd runner-up Arlene Damot sees the Miss Universe Organization's decision to lift the age requirement and welcome married women as a progressive move.
“Lifting the age requirement for Miss Universe candidates is a progressive move, allowing more women to participate regardless of their age. It promotes inclusivity and celebrates women’s achievements at any stage of life,” she said. “At the moment, I’m not actively considering joining Miss Universe, as my focus is on the business side. We have numerous expansion plans in the pipeline, which require my full attention. However, I’m open to revisiting the idea in the future,” she said.
