MANILA - Patients tagged as "probable" under the Department of Health's new classification for COVID-19 may receive medication from their doctors even if they have not tested positive for the illness, an official from the DOH said Sunday.

"Magbibigay ang doktor ng gamot pang-COVID sa isang probable case kung ito ay kinakailangan base sa kaniyang professional at medical assessment," she added. Under the new system, patients with positive results from official testing labs will be considered "confirmed" cases.
