The Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6) celebrated the 31st PNP Ethics Day on January 6, 2025, with a ceremony emphasizing the importance of ethical values and character development. The event, held at the PRO 6 Multipurpose Hall, Camp General Martin Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City, coincided with the traditional Monday Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony.

This year's celebration carried the theme, 'Serbisyong may Integridad at Pananagutan, Tungo sa Ligtas at Mapayapang Pilipinas.' Director Arwin Razo, Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Western Visayas, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his address, Razo underscored the importance of ethical behavior in both professional and personal life, stressing the collective responsibility to uphold integrity and accountability. 'As we reflect on the theme today, let us bear in mind our collective responsibility to uphold the highest standards of ethics in all of our undertakings. As Proverbs 9:10 tells us, 'Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes a crooked path will be found out,'' Razo said. Razo emphasized the importance of remembering that public office is a public trust. The ceremony also recognized exemplary personnel who demonstrated outstanding dedication to the values of honesty, fairness, respect, and responsibility within the organization. The Medalya ng Papuri, or PNP Commendation Medal, was awarded to the following individuals for their commendable service: 1. Police Master Sergeant Joemar Ortega, Police Staff Sergeant Genald Roxas, and Patrolman Neptali Villanoche, all from Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO) 2. Police Master Sergeant Ramil Endencio of Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) 3. Police Staff Sergeant Lourdes D. Dellomos of Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) 4. Police Staff Sergeant Charo Lasconia of Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) 5. Police Staff Sergeant Felix Nadu
