THE Police Regional Office in Central Luzon vowed to intensify its efforts against illegal activities in Region 3.This was announced by PRO-3 director BGen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. during the 11th episode of the 'Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas' of the Philippine Information Agency, reiterating commitment to serve and protect its constituents.
The robust implementation of Oplan Bakal and Oplan Katok resulted in the confiscation of 127 loose firearms and the arrest of 973 violators.PRO-3 also arrested 14 members of communist terrorist groups and facilitated the surrender of 351 insurgents and the recovery of 357 firearms and 346 explosives parts and devices.
