DAVAO CITY – The Police Regional Office-11 belied on Wednesday, August 28, a news report by Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) that the Philippine National Police (PNP) would bomb the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Cathedral within two hours if the KOJC members do not surrender Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

DAVAO CITY – The Police Regional Office-11 belied on Wednesday, August 28, a news report by Sonshine Media Network International that the Philippine National Police would bomb the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Cathedral within two hours if the KOJC members do not surrender Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

According to SMNI breaking news on their Facebook page, the KOJC Cathedral received information that the PNP would bomb the cathedral within two hours if they did not surrender Quiboloy, accused of child abuse, sexual abuse, and human trafficking, before the courts in Davao City and Pasig City. KOJC legal counsel Israelito Torreon said he was waiting for PRO-11's confirmation of the report's veracity.

Torreon emphasized that there is already a Writ of Amparo and police are supposedly ordered to stop any act or omission that threatens or violates the petitioners' life, liberty, or property. The order, penned by Davao City RTC Branch 15 Presiding Judge Mario C. Duaves, mandated the PRO-11 to remove all forms of barricades, barriers, or blockades that bar the access to and from the subject compound and hinder the exercise of religious, academic, and proprietary rights of officials and members.
