Monaco’s Princess Charlene appears to have deleted her official Instagram account just days after two European tabloids revealed she no longer lives in the principality and only sees her husband Prince Albert “by appointment”.
As of Friday, the official Instagram account for the 45-year-old Princess is no longer available, with an error message now reading “sorry, this page isn't available".
A second expose in a German tabloid claims Charlene commutes back to Monaco on official occasions in exchange for greater visitation with her two children, who are the heirs to the country’s throne. After a long courtship, Wittstock married the ruler of Monaco in 2011 amid reports she had tried to flee the small principality on several occasions over revelations her husband fathered at least three secret children out of wedlock.
He said her earlier absences were due to health issues and exhaustion, which saw the royal spending a period of time in 2022 living in Switzerland.
