Princess Michael of Kent, also known as Marie Christine, has raised eyebrows yet again after refusing to eat a Chelsea bun despite judging the World Chelsea Bun Awards.
The royal, 78, who is married to Prince Michael of Kent, a first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth II, was seen judging the contest in a new British documentary called The Royal Borough: Kensington & Chelsea.
Despite her deep roots in European aristocracy, the Austrian-born Princess actually spent more than 15 years living in Australia after emigrating to Sydney as an infant at the end of World War 2. Unwilling to give up her place in the line of succession, Margaret ended the relationship in 1955 and would later marry and divorce the Earl Snowdon.
