San Jose del Monte, Bulacan — PrimeWater San Jose del Monte, in partnership with the San Jose del Monte Water District, continues to work hard to deliver major infrastructure upgrades to solve supply concerns at the peak of the summer season.

PrimeWater reported that the Bulacan Bulk Interconnection Point 2, located in Barangay Muzon has been completed to address the pressure imbalance and supply limitations in the city's most densely populated areas, benefiting around 28,000 concessionaires by connecting and optimizing multiple water sources in the network. It said the partnership has been able to increase water supply service from 85.223 MLD to 122.

By upgrading both our storage and transmission systems, we're able to reach more areas consistently and prepare the city's water system for further growth,' said Lanie Carino-Quinto, operations head for North Luzon. Meanwhile, construction is underway for the transmission line extension from Barangay Tungkong Mangga to Barangay Gaya-Gaya. This is a crucial project for higher elevation zones that currently experience only 4 to 6 hours of water availability a day.
