Batay sa ulat ng GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, na iniulat din ni Jonathan Andal sa Unang Balita nitong Huwebes, sinabing aabot na sa P480 ang presyo ng kada kilo ng siling labuyo, habang P250 per kilo namang ang presyo ng siling haba.Ayon sa mga nagtitinda, mataas na ang puhunan nila, at may iba na huminto na sa pagtitinda dahil sa napakataas na presyo.
