Ayon kay Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau Assistant Director Rodela Romero, kabilang sa mga dahilan ng pagtaas sa presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo ang pagpapalawig ng production cuts na 2.2 million barrels per day ng OPEC+ hanggang sa April 2025. Tuwing Lunes inaanunsyo ng mga kompanya ng langis ang opisyal na price adjustments at ipatutupad sa susunod na araw ng Martes.
