Defining the News
The PAHAYAG non-commissioned survey for the second quarter of 2024 was released on Sunday, delivering mixed results for the Top 5 Philippine government officials, which highlight a steady yet complex political landscape.
In contrast, Vice President Sara Duterte experienced a significant decline in her ratings. Her approval rating dropped from 53- to 46 percent; trust rating also declined from 46- to 41 percent. This decrease is particularly evident in NCL, where her approval ratings plummeted from 47- to 38 percent. PAHAYAG noted that her resignation from the Marcos Cabinet occurred at the end of the survey period , so it did not factor into the results of the study.
