During a meeting with the Private Sector Advisory Council-Agriculture Sector Group at the Palace on Wednesday, the President discussed strategies for the development of the coconut industry and other agricultural products. President Marcos pledged sufficient funding for the PCA to carry out the initiative, pointing out its economic potential.
A budget of P2.5 billion could double coconut tree fertilization and salt production, boosting productivity and farmer income, the PSAC noted.
