About six kilometers will be added to Metro Manila’s road network starting Monday with the completion of two segments of two major road projects in the metropolis.The 3.7-kilometer segment of the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 from Buendia to Plaza Dilao in Paco, Manila will be opened Monday, while the 2.2-kilometer segment of the C-5 Southlink Expressway in Taguig City will be opened Tuesday.

“Ito’ng two kilometers, you can see from Merville kung dati iikot pa sa service road at abutin pa ng 30 or 40 minutes ngayon wala pa yatang five minutes, 2 kilometer pa ang biyahe ,” Villar said. “Sa ngayon hanggang Buendia lang yung Skyway kapag na-open ito at least hanggang Manila na rin, magkakaroon ng Manila exit ,” Villar said.
