The perfect 911 for the Philippines?
The Porsche 911 Dakar is destined to be a collector’s item. With just 2,500 marked for production, chances of seeing one in the wild will be rare. Despite that, PGA Cars, the official distributor of Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and of course, Porsche , have managed to bag allocations for this unicorn.
Not only that, the suspension is specifically tuned to take on high-speed off-road driving. We’d love to see local billionaires play with it on the sand dunes. All-terrain Pirelli tires are standard fit and developed especially for the Dakar. Meanwhile, its 3.0-liter turbocharged flat-six engine can propel this 911 to 100kph in just 3.4 seconds…on said all-terrain tires.
