Pope Francis spent a more peaceful fifth night in hospital and ate breakfast on Wednesday, the Vatican said, providing an update on the pontiff's fragile health. The 88-year-old pope was admitted to Rome's Gemelli hospital on February 14 for a polymicrobial infection, which has since developed into double pneumonia, a serious infection that can inflame and scar both lungs.
