Gaza is such a place.International relief agencies quickly responded by organizing a massive drive to immunize Gaza 's children.
The negotiations center on the release of Israeli hostages and establishing a truce that would usher in a permanent ceasefire and the reconstruction of the devastated territory.Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that Hamas must first free its remaining hostages. Hamas says it will only do so if Israel pulls out all its troops from Gaza.The United States and fellow mediators Egypt and Qatar have for months been trying to break the impasse.
