Police have identified a 42-year-old woman who was found dead in a western Sydney unit, as they appeal for public help to catch her killer. 9News MORE:
are continuing to investigate cause of death of Sydney woman Erin Gilbert, who was found in a unit on Sunday after "serious and severe" injuries.called police with concerns for her welfare on Sunday night.
When police arrived at 11.30pm they found Gilbert's partner performing CPR on her but she had already died.Superintendent Andrew Holland said the 42-year-old's partner was assisting police with their investigations. "Erin was home at the unit that evening… we are aware neighbours heard her at the unit block, she had been speaking that night," Holland said.He said it was too early to determine what had happened."We just need to get background on what may have happened and who may have been at the unit location with her.
"The injuries were very serious and severe, unfortunately we do not know the cause of death at this point.
