Police have identified a 42-year-old woman who was found dead in a western Sydney unit, as they appeal for public help to catch her killer. 9News MORE:
Erin Gilbert's body was found at a unit in Newman Street in Merrylands at 11.30pm on Sunday.
Police said they went to the unit after concerns were raised for the 42-year-old's welfare and they found her body when they arrived.No charges have been laid over the woman's death as police investigate. A 38-year-old man was spoken to at the scene and taken to Granville Police Station to assist with inquiries.Detectives, with assistance from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.Continue reading
