Over P400,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs were seized by operatives of the Eastern Police District (EPD) in two separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Pasig and Marikina on March 9.
Over P400,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs were seized by operatives of the Eastern Police District in two separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Pasig and Marikina on March 9 and 10 respectively.
Maj. Darwin Guerrero, acting chief of the EPD’s DDEU, identified the suspects as “Habid,” 28, and “Saddam,” 32, both security guards. The suspects were brought to the Rizal Medical Center for medical examination. They were turned over to the office of the EPD-DDEU for documentation.The suspects are detained at the Pasig City Custodial Facility. They are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 .
EPD Director Wilson Asueta lauded the police forces of Marikina and Pasig in their efforts supporting the anti-illegal drugs campaign.
