Defining the News
The Philippine National Police on Saturday said it intensified its efforts in the manhunt for Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused in various sexual charges and other cases.
“We are no longer limiting our search efforts to the Davao Region. Even here in Metro Manila and other areas, we are actively pursuing leads to locate not only Pastor Quiboloy but also his associates,” Fajardo informed reporters. Moreover, Fajardo warned of imminent police action should Quiboloy fail to comply with the directive to surrender his weapons. “If Pastor Quiboloy does not surrender his firearms, there will be corresponding police action. Once the resolution is signed by our Chief PNP, it becomes immediately executory, although they retain the right to file a motion for reconsideration,” Fajardo explained.
