KUALA LUMPUR: A man caught on video slashing two other men in Cheras for bothering his wife is being pursued by the police.
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Zam Halim Jamaluddin said the 45-year-old suspect got into a fight with two men, aged 22 and 23, for bothering his wife on Friday.“Once police were alerted, personnel from the crime prevention patrol rushed to the scene and discovered two victims had been injured after being slashed,” he said.
“She was detained as we believe she might have been in cahoots with the main suspect. She was also at the crime scene when the incident occurred.ACP Zam Halim also urged those with information to contact the KL police hotline at 03-2115 9999 or Cheras police hotline at 03-9284 5050/5051 or the nearest police station.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said a 24-year-old man was standing in his home’s compound at about 4am yesterday when eight masked men armed with machetes approached him.
