CEBU CITY, Philippines— The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) is continuing its manhunt of five persons under police custody (PUPC) who escaped the Cebu Police Provincial Office
Police Brigadier General Albert Ignatius Ferro, regional director of the PRO-7, said on Wednesday, April 15, that a total of seven PUPCs actually escaped from the CPPO facility but two were recaptured after an immediate manhunt operation.The five who escaped are Edjon Samson Carbantes from Dumanjug; Jorsua Orongan Burgos from Talisay City; Lucio Papas Llamedo of Bulacao, Talisay City; Jave Reyes Pongcol ofMarcelo Geronggay from Mananga II, Talisay City. They are all facing drug charges.
Now, aside from the manhunt operation being conducted by the CPPO, Ferro also gave a directive to the provincial director of CPPO,
