Authorities arrested four persons who were supposed to deliver boxes of alcohol drinks to a recipient in Pasig City on Wednesday.
Police identified those arrested as William Plaza, 41, Richard Villanueva, 24; Jessie Jun Villadolid, 27; and Linard Reambonanza, 19. All suspects are residents of Kawit, Cavite.
Barangay personnel and the police then went to the area and reportedly caught the suspects in the act of unloading the boxes. She said Plaza, the truck driver, admitted that the boxes came from a Chinese national based in Cavite that ordered the items to be delivered to another Chinese national who owns a store in Barangay San Antonio.
