POCOF5 To Officially Be Equipped With Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2
Not much else is known about the upcoming phone, but POCO has officially announced that the F5 series launch is imminent, although the brand has yet to give a specific date. Many speculate that the POCO F5 will just be a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo for the global market, and with both phones now confirmed to be running the same chip, that rumour may actually be accurate.
For reference, the Note 12 Turbo sports a 6.67-inch 1080p OLED display with a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 as its core with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It supports Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and is even equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack and an infrared blaster.On the camera side, it houses a triple-lens setup consisting of a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
