Authorities said Buscaino was driving toward the interior section of Barangay Labangon when the suspects attacked him. Law enforcers recovered six empty shells from an unidentified gun at the crime scene.
Eleazar then urged those who have information about the incident to help authorities in resolving the case. “Nananawagan din tayo sa mga nakasaksi sa insidente o kaya’y may hawak na impormasyon sa pangyayari na makipagtulungan sa kapulisan para sa agarang ikalulutas ng kaso at ikadarakip ng mga salarin,” Eleazar said.
