The gunman in the murder of a radio commentator in Oriental Mindoro has now been identified and authorities are now preparing charges against the suspect, Philippine National Police chief Benjamin Acorda said on Monday. | JEMendozaINQ

“Ready for filing, identified na din ang suspect, and we will give its specifics, especially names, once we were able to file a case,” he added.“Ang assessment naman, I was assured by the regional director naman that it is a solid and strong case and fruitful naman ang investigation na ito,” the official said.

The gunman’s cohort — the motorcycle driver — already died after sustaining head injuries when Bunduquin’s son chased him and bumped into their motorcycle. Both suspects were not wearing helmets when they committed the crime.
