The Philippine National Police filed on Friday, March 17, a criminal case against actor Kit Thompson for allegedly beating up his girlfriend, actress Ana Jalandoni.
Initial reports revealed that both the victim and suspect checked in at a hotel and had an altercation. It was then that Thompson allegedly beat up Jalandoni. A case for violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act was filed.
