Members of the Philippine Military Academy ‘Maringal’ Class of 1988 released a manifesto on Tuesday, expressing their “unwavering support” for former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Director General Wilkins Villanueva, who is currently facing contempt charges.
Abang Lingkod party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano made the motion to cite Villanueva in contempt and ordered his detention for allegedly lying and disrespecting the committee during a Quad Comm hearing last December 12. His detention will be implemented on January 13, 2025.
