Ibrahim died at the age of 78 at the Damansara Specialist Hospital here at 6.30pm yesterday due to respiratory complications.Ibrahim began his career in politics as Anwar’s political secretary. It was in 1983 when Anwar was Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Ibrahim was Deputy Chief Minister of Penang from 1990 to 1995 and then became Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department and Deputy Minister of Transport .
