PARIS - Kasama ang ilang Pinoy sa mahigit 30,000 marathoners mula sa iba-ibang panig ng mundo na sumabak sa Marathon de Paris 2021 nitong October 17.
Bago pa sumisilip ang araw, dagsa na ang marathoners sa Arc de Triomphe. Mahigpit ang safety protocol, naka-face mask habang naghihintay, pero hinubad na nila ito nang nagsimula ang marathon.
“Salamat at lumuwag na dito sa Paris, puwede na ngayon sumali sa competition--ang 50 years old na tumatakbo pa rin. Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino sa Paris,” sabi ni Ernesto Arcansalin, marathoner. At hindi lang takbuhan ang highlight ng marathon dahil may mga agaw eksena rin, tulad ng makukulay na kasuotan. May nag-marriage proposal sa gitna ng marathon.
