A “big” commercial vessel, apparently of Chinese origin, rammed a Philippine fishing boat on July 7 and abandoned it, leaving two brothers in the high seas off Masinloc, Zambales, Sen. Francis Tolentino said Tuesday.
Sen. Francis Tolentino waves a copy of an update report of the Philippine Coast Guard, which has been searching for filipino fisherman Jose Mondonedo since July 7, when a Chinese commercial fishing boat rammed their small fishing boat off Zambales. Jose’s brother Roberto was rescued by a passing Philippine boat, but Jose remains missing. Tolentino is seeking an investigation.
Gaban informed Tolentino the Coast Guard had been searching for. Jose Mondonedo since July 7, when he alerted them about the incident.
