Vice President Leni Robredo’s supporters abroad are making sure that they, too, join the “pink revolution” as they clad themselves in pink shirts while waving pink flags and banners to express their support for the opposition standard-bearer.
Ever since Robredo announced that she’s joining the presidential race, a tidal wave of pink, her campaign color, has washed over social media. Pink motorcades and caravans are also being held in her name in many parts of the world—from Hong Kong to Austria, to New York and California.
Last week, Filipinos in California held a pink parade to express their support for the candidacies of Robredo and her running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
