MANILA—National frisbee team Pilipinas Ultimate bagged 2 medals in the 2019 Asia Oceanic Ultimate Guts Championship in Shanghai on Saturday.
The Pilipinas Ultimate mixed team beat Japan 12-7 to bag the gold medal for back-to-back championships. The Pilipinas Ultimate women’s team settled for bronze after losing to Australia in the semis 13-9. Japan, which beat Australia 15-10, won gold.
Meanwhile, the Pilipinas Ultimate men's team failed to land a medal after losing to Japan in the semis 15-9. Last June, the Pilipinas Ultimate bagged 3 medals in the 2019 Asia Oceanic Beach Ultimate Championships in Shirahama, Japan. — With a report from Yeka To-ong, ABS-CBN News
