Before Michelle competed for the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown, she and Pia even went on a video call.Michelle finished in the Top 10 of the Miss Universe 2023 pageant and won several special awards. She crowned her successor, Chelsea Manalo, last May.Pia and Michelle both attended the Binibining Pilipinas 2024 pageant last July. Pia was among the queens who were honored on stage, whereas Michelle attended the event with her mom, Melanie Marquez.
