And on Saturday, Phillips ' energy just went supernova, fueled by grief over the death of someone he's grown to love in La Salle dorm guard Doleo Susalta whom he said passed away two days ago.Emotional, the 6-foot-8 pumped 12 points and 18 rebounds to power La Salle to an 88-67 win over UST in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Saturday.'I want to dedicate this game to Doleo Susalta .
'Battling through pain, Phillips said he's banking on his faith, trying to rise above the challenges through prayers and gratitude.'I'm actually going through a lot of spiritual warfare the last couple of days and weeks. I don't know what it is, I'm sure if you guys have been in that situation, where everything kind of feels hard, something's not right, and you kind of feel like you're overwhelmed, and the world's just spinning around you.
