Covid19 cases in the Philippines as of September 12, 2020. Read the story:
THE Department of Health recorded Saturday, September 12, the highest number of coronavirus disease deaths in a day, with nearly 200 fatalities.
On its latest case bulletin, the DOH said 186 new mortalities have been reported and this is higher than the 162 deaths reported back in July 12.Majority of the new deaths were recorded in the National Capital Region with 100, said the DOH. Other deaths were reported in Central Visayas , Calabarzon , Central Luzon , Western Visayas , unknown , ROF , Ilocos Region , Zamboanga Peninsula , Northern Mindanao , Mimaropa , Caraga , and Cagayan Valley .The number of new Covid-19 cases also continued to go up, with 4,935 additional infections reported Saturday, September 12.Majority of the new cases came from the NCR with 2,619.As to the number of patients who have recovered from the disease, the DOH listed 659 new recoveries.
Worldwide, there have been 28,040,853 confirmed cases of Covid-19, including 906,092 deaths, as of September 11, said the World Health Organization.
