The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday reported 655 new COVID-19 infections, taking the nationwide tally to 3,670,177.
At least 3,565,984 people recovered from the disease, while the death toll climbed to 57,441.
Latest data showed that 24.64% of the intensive care unit beds for COVID-19 patients nationwide were in use. At least 22.04% of the country’s isolation beds were utilized, while 13.66% of the nationwide ward beds were in use.Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police on Saturday reported two new COVID-19 infections among its personnel, bringing the total number of cases to 48,831.The PNP also reported a total of 48,693 recoveries, while the number of deaths remained at 128. —
