The number of active cases decreased by 109 to 8,244 from 8,353 on Saturday, June 24. This is the second straight day of decline, and the lowest in 53 days since 7,565 active cases reported on May 3. The National Capital Region recorded the highest number of cases in the past two weeks with 1,740, followed by Central Luzon with 1,211, Calabarzon with 1,115, Western Visayas with 709, and the Ilocos Region with 543.
