The Philippines on Wednesday recorded 385 coronavirus infections, pushing the nationwide caseload to 4,163,857.
Meanwhile, the country’s active cases also increase from yesterday’s 7,760 to 7,777, marking the second straight day of having less than 8,000 active infections.One new death was recorded on Wednesday, bringing the country’s death toll to 66,484.
The National Capital Region has the highest number of cases within the past two weeks with 1,553, followed by Central Luzon with 1,082, Calabarzon with 1,004, Western Visayas with 627, and Cagayan Valley with 515. Among the cities and provinces, Quezon City has the most new cases in the past 14 days with 394, Iloilo with 354, Cavite with 326, Bulacan with 282, and Pampanga with 239.COVID-19 bed occupancy is at 17.2%, with 4,298 occupied and 20,627 vacant as of June 27.
