The Philippine government has allowed citizens of special administrative regions of Hong Kong, Macau, as well as Brazil and Israel to enter the country without visa amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is provided under Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution 164-A which states that foreigners who are holders of passports of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or Macau SAR are "entitled to stay for a period not exceeding 14 days" provided that:present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours or a negative laboratory based Antigen Test taken within 24 hours prior to the date and time of departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to...
have passports valid for a period of at least six months at the time of their arrival to the Philippines; Likewise, the same IATF Resolution states that "citizens/nationals of Brazil and Israel are allowed to stay [in the Philippines] for a period not exceeding 59 days" under the same above mentioned conditions.The government is eyeing to have 77 million Filipinos fully vaccinated against COVID-9 by the end of March.
