The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) is continuing its efforts to improve facilities at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, including a makeover of the baseball field's gallery with covered roofing and better seats. “We are confident about this, after having started this last year with the pencak silat and boxing facilities,” said Bachmann. Also, a partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways has strengthened the PSC’s resolve in its intention to establish multiple infrastructures that will provide the best quality for the welfare of national athletes.

The agency and the DPWH have recently signed agreements for the upgrade of facilities in the PhilSports Complex in Pasig City and the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.
