Art House presents 'Lakbay: Voyages into the Absolute with Nena Saguil,' a unique exhibition celebrating modernist painter Nena Saguil's life and works. The Art House is showcasing a unique exhibition titled ' Lakbay : Voyages into the Absolute with Nena Saguil ,' celebrating the life and works of modernist painter Nena Saguil .

The exhibition, running from February 8 to 10 at Discovery Primea during National Arts Month, brings together nine visual artists from the Philippine diaspora, including Jana Benitez (US), Rose Cameron (US), Kim Cruz (US), Lizza May David (Germany), John Wayne Forte (US), Marissa Gonzalez (Switzerland), Rasco Jugarap (Belgium), Kulay Labitingan (UK), and Jaclyn Reyes (US). These artists, who share Saguil's diasporic experience, reflect on Saguil's legacy through their own interpretations of her pioneering cosmic abstractions. The exhibition aims to present fresh yet resonant perspectives on the local art scene, bridging the past and present through the lens of a celebrated artist.Art House founder and CEO Carlo Pineda emphasizes the exhibition's role as more than just a showcase. He explains, 'I've always been an avid collector of Nena Saguil's works. For Art Month, we wanted to bring something new, bridging artists and audiences through untold stories.' 'Lakbay' fosters cultural exchange, engaging both artists and collectors in an open and inclusive community. Furthermore, a portion of the proceeds benefits the Nena Saguil Foundation, ensuring Saguil's artistic legacy continues to inspire and empower future generations
