The survey also highlights the need for workforce development and digital innovation to address challenges posed by technological disruption.

MAJORITY of top Philippine executives believe artificial intelligence will contribute to business growth , according to the PwC 2025 Global CEO Survey.The survey was published on Jan. 20 at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. It polled 4,701 CEOs in 109 countries including the Philippines.It showed 75 percent of Philippine CEO respondents confirmed plans to integrate AI into their business operations, a transformative shift that prioritizes technological innovation.

In addition, local business leaders cited workforce development and digital innovation as critical factors to Filipino businesses, with 28 percent saying they have a shortage of skilled workers and are encountering technological disruption.Nearly 70 percent of the CEOs said their businesses won't remain economically viable beyond the next 10 years if they stay on their current path.
