Philippine Arena, posibleng magamit na bilang quarantine facility sa susunod na linggo

MAYNILA - Madadagdagan pa ang mga quarantine facility na maaaring magamit ng COVID-19 patients sa bansa.

Ayon kay COVID-19 National Task Force spokesperson Restituto Padilla, inaasahan sa susunod na linggo ay magagamit na rin ang Philippine Arena.

Tatanggap ang facility na ito ng mga pasyente mula sa Quezon City, Caloocan, Malabon, Novotas, Bulacan at Valenzuela. Bukod sa mga pasilidad, sinasabay rin aniya ng National Task Force ang mga hakbang para maitaas ang testing capacity ng RITM at iba pang accredited laboratories, pagsaayos sa COVID referral hospitals at pamimigay ng PPEs sa health workers at iba pang frontliners.

Mahalaga rin aniya ang papel ng local government units para sa pagtitiyak na hindi kakalat ang virus sa kumunidad.
