The 3 primary sports entities tasked with putting together the Southeast Asian Games later this year have outlined each of their responsibilities, assuring that their duties will not overlap and will
be carried out with transparency.
"It came a little bit late, but still this is a historic day," said POC president Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino, referring to the deal among the primary stakeholders inked at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila. PSC chairman William "Butch" Ramirez and Phisgoc CEO Ramon Suzara joined Tolentino in the signing of the memorandum.
The POC will also supervise the Phisgoc's preparation and management of the Games, and accounts pertaining to expenses incurred, sponsorship deals, donations, and the liquidation of financial support from the government."We should now move forward in the coming days since we have barely 4 months to go before the SEA Games."
