The regions with the most cases in the last 14 days were the National Capital Region, Calabarzon, Western Visayas, Central Luzon, and Central Visayas.It was also shown that 912 of 3,701 intensive care unit beds; 4,579 of 20,773 isolation beds; 1,917 of 14,037 ward beds are currently occupied by Covid-19 patients.The DOH urged eligible Filipinos to complete their vaccine doses in order to be protected against the viral illness.

“So, ngayong mababa ang mga kaso ay ang akmang pagkakataong dagdagan ang proteksyon ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Kapag sinabi nating buong pamilya – iyong lahat nang puwedeng bakunahan, five years and above lalung-lalo na po iyong ating senior citizen ,” said DOH Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje in a recent public briefing.

“Ang bakuna po ay proteksyon hindi lang para sa sarili kung hindi para rin sa kasama natin sa bahay at sa komunidad ,” she added.
