The Philippine men's national volleyball team is now officially included in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games groupings.

After a re-draw on Tuesday, April 18, the nationals have been drawn to Group A alongside Singapore, last year's bronze medalist Cambodia and gold medal winner Indonesia.Group B is composed of last year's silver medalist Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar. The Philippine men's volleyball team was not included in the first draw two weeks ago after an 'clerical error' on the part of the Philippine Olympic Committee during the submission deadline in February.

POC president Abraham 'Bambol' Tolentino, however, appealed to the Cambodia SEA Games organizing committee to hold a re-draw and the latter approved on the condition that five of the seven countries competing in the said event agree to hold another draw.Fortunately, all seven countries including the Philippines and Cambodia agreed to hold a re-draw.The Philippine team is hard at work in a training camp in Osaka, Japan that will run until April 23.
